Dee Mangan (DCCoI, IDI) began Kinsale Leather in 2015 with the aim of creating lifelong leather companions. Our statement is allowing the simplicity of the design and the quality of the leather to speak for itself without the need for loud logos. Since we opened our shop doors in 2015 it has been one milestone after another with Dee being named Irish Accessory Designer of the Year, a nomination for Best Young Entrepreneur, our new store and studio opening on Main Street Kinsale, the launch of Kinsale Leather in the iconic Arnotts Department Store, CREATE at Brown Thomas and select Kilkenny Stores. Since 2020, we made the decision to be as close to our products, our customers and the experience of buying from us as possible (if you’ve been to our store in Kinsale you will know it is our happy place) so now Dee’s designs are solely available directly from our store in Kinsale and online here in small batches.
