PACKBAGS is an Amsterdam bag brand built around a modular system of interchangeable bags, straps, pouches and accessories. Founded in 2012 by designer Alei Verspoor, the collection is designed so individual components can be replaced, repaired or reconfigured instead of replacing the entire bag.

PACKBAGS designs and makes its bags in its Amsterdam atelier, producing in small batches and working with materials sourced largely from European suppliers. Recycled nylon and polyester feature prominently throughout the collection, alongside cotton, aluminium hardware and specialised technical fabrics.

The range includes crossbody bags, shoppers, weekend bags, backpacks and handwoven basket bags, as well as wallets and individual modules. The company also offers repairs and replacement components to extend the usable life of its products.
