Since 1945, Duralex has manufactured tempered-glass tableware in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, near Orléans, France. Its Picardie and Gigogne glasses have become familiar in homes, schools, cafés and restaurants across generations. Today the range extends to drinking glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, serving and baking dishes, and glass food-storage containers. In 2024, employees took over the historic manufacturer through a worker cooperative, continuing a French glassmaking tradition.
