Bendl is a Dutch accessories and lifestyle brand founded by former firefighter Casper Vloet after seeing how much usable firehose was discarded at the end of its working life. The collection gives used fire hoses, bicycle tyres, truck tarpaulin and other residual materials a new purpose in belts, bags, bracelets, dog accessories and home goods.

All products are handmade in the Netherlands, with Bendl working alongside a social workshop and local suppliers. Marks, colour variations and traces of previous use are deliberately retained, making the history of the reclaimed materials part of each finished piece.

Alongside its original firehose belts, the range now includes bicycle-tyre accessories, rolltop backpacks, personalised pieces and products for the home and dogs, extending the same reuse-led approach across several everyday categories.
