The Blue Angel (Blauer Engel) is Germany’s environmental label. Its DE-UZ 148 criteria cover environmentally friendlier leather, including requirements related to emissions, harmful substances and production. On SHOWP, a Blue Angel label on a product may refer specifically to a certified material used in the product rather than certification of the finished item.
