Novesta is a Slovak footwear brand rooted in the shoemaking tradition of Partizánske, where its factory history dates to 1939 and the Baťa industrial era. The brand continues to manufacture footwear in its historic Slovak production facilities, combining traditional machinery with substantial manual craftsmanship.

Best known for the Star Master and Star Dribble canvas sneakers, Novesta also produces runners, leather footwear, rubber boots and sandals. Its footwear uses materials including natural rubber, cotton, leather and recycled synthetics, with selected styles using GOTS-certified organic cotton and PETA-approved vegan materials. The Partizánske factory recycles its own rubber production offcuts and operates under ISO 14001 environmental management certification.

Alongside footwear, Novesta's current shop includes European-made socks, shoe accessories and locally produced lifestyle products such as hand-cast soy-wax candles. Its sock collaborations include fellow Slovak brand Buffet Clothing.
