La Pantoufle à Pépère is a French footwear brand founded in 2012 and headquartered in Hem, near Lille. The brand specialises in modern interpretations of traditional Charentaise slippers, alongside mule slippers and espadrilles.
Its Charentaise slippers are manufactured in Charente using traditional construction techniques, while its espadrilles are produced in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The brand works with French workshops and nearby suppliers, produces according to demand to limit overproduction, and uses materials including wool, cotton, felt, jute and recycled rubber.
Selected Charentaise slippers carry Protected Geographical Indication status, recognising their regional manufacture and traditional construction.
