Maison Broussaud is a family-owned French hosiery manufacturer established in 1938 in Les Cars, near Limoges. Its socks are knitted in the company’s own French factory using traditional know-how and modern knitting technology. The collections cover everyday, elegant and technical socks in cotton, merino wool, silk and cashmere, alongside children’s and babies’ socks and a range of tights. Selected socks can be personalised with embroidered characters. Maison Broussaud also offers French-made men’s boxers, slippers, hats and scarves through partnerships with specialist French manufacturers such as Atelier Rondinaud and Maison Bonnefoy. An additional Napoleon sweater is made by Regain in France. Broussaud Textiles is recognised as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, and its socks have Origine France Garantie certification. Some production waste is recycled into yarn for selected products.
