Matona is a family-run Austrian fashion label founded in Vorarlberg in 2016, creating minimalist clothing for women, men, babies and children alongside a small home-textile collection. Designed in Austria, much of the range is produced by partner factories in Portugal, while selected current knitwear and clothing is made in Turkey and some older styles still available in the shop were produced in India.

The collections focus on materials including organic cotton, linen, lyocell/TENCEL™, recycled wool and ECONYL® regenerated nylon. Matona is GOTS-certified, while only products certified throughout all production stages are individually marked with the GOTS label.
