The National Forest Certification Scheme (VFCS) certifies sustainable forest management according to VFCS/PEFC ST 1003:2019, VFCS/PEFC ST 1004:2019 and the chain of custody of products according to PEFC standards. These standards are provided under “Standards and Guidelines”.

In addition, VFCS and PEFC will develop standards for certifying carbon benefits, non timber forest products (NTFPs) and other forest based ecosystem services.
