Inis Meáin Knitting Company is an Irish knitwear manufacturer founded on the Aran Island of Inis Meáin in 1976. Inspired by the island’s traditional clothing, landscape and distinctive Aran stitches, the company creates contemporary knitwear for men and women using cashmere, Merino wool, linen, alpaca and other fine natural yarns.

Every garment is designed, made and hand-finished in its own island workshop, where modern knitting technology is combined with detailed hand-finishing and generations of local textile heritage.
